Klein Decisions Launches K4 Fund Selection Plus with Category Indexes and Rolling Period Statistics

Raleigh, NC -- August 29, 2006 -- Klein Decisions, LLC today announced the launch of the newest addition to the suite of K4 Decision Tools: K4 Fund Selection Plus. Using Klein’s patented investment decision technology, K4 Fund Selection Plus provides a style- and risk-specific analysis that ranks funds in preference order across all attributes simultaneously. This process, developed by Klein Decisions, quickly allows the user to pinpoint the top funds for a particular situation and provides ongoing monitoring of user-recommended funds.

Like the base version of K4 Fund Selection released in May 2006, K4 Fund Selection Plus uses Morningstar® mutual fund data as the underlying source data and then evaluates and ranks the funds based on the user-defined importance of the selected criteria. This multi-factor preference ordering to identify the top funds is unique to the K4 decision process. The enhanced K4 Fund Selection Plus provides an expanded data set of Klein-calculated statistics including new attributes, benchmarks, and rolling period statistics. K4 Fund Selection Plus users can assess mutual funds relative to nearly 200 attributes using both preference and screening techniques, something no other tool in the market is able to do.

K4 Fund Selection Plus also uses a style-specific index for comparative statistics within each of the 68 fund categories. “Rather than choosing between a broad primary index or a variable best fit index, now you can compare all the funds in a category against the same index for consistency in the analysis, “ explains Bob Padgette, founder of Klein Decisions. “K4 Fund Selection Plus is the next step in our continuing commitment to provide our clients the most innovative decision tools in the market today.”
